PATRICIA A. SPRAGUE

SPRAGUE, PATRICIA A., 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Elderwood of Scallop Shell at Wakefield. Patricia was the loving wife of the late Edward F. Sprague, who predeceased Patricia in 2024. 

Born in Providence, Patricia was the daughter of Ernest and Barbara (McGovern) Hill.

Patria spent her younger years growing up in North Providence and was a 1976  graduate of the St. Patrick Academy, Providence. She then went on to earn her Nursing Degree, graduating from Newport Hospital School of Nursing in 1979. A natural born caregiver, Patricia spent her entire career as a Registered Nurse, working closely with her patients, in their homes and at hospitals.   

Patricia is survived by two loving sons:  Daniel E. Sprague and his wife, Michaela of Hopkinton, RI and James P. Sprague and his wife, Lindsay of Davenport, FL. She was the dear sister of Robert and William Hill, both of Florida. 

Per Patricia’s request, funeral services are respectfully private. Arrangements are by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
