PAUL MORIN Obituary

COVENTRY- Paul L. Morin, 66, of Coventry, former longtime resident of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully,  on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Center in Providence. He was the loving husband to Elaine Morin of Coventry.

Born in Woonsocket on May 9, 1955, Paul was one of nine children born to the late Joseph O. Morin, Jr. and Theresa (Bacon) Morin. He was raised in Woonsocket and educated in Woonsocket Public Schools.

A hardworking man with a knack for fixing and building, Paul worked in the trade of carpentry, as the owner and operator of his company, Carpentry Done Right. He was known for his ability to complete tasks in a timely and meticulous manner for his customers, always treating them with the utmost respect.

Paul was affiliated with Friends of Bill W., where he was a proud member who believed in the goal and mission of the organization.

In his spare time, Paul enjoyed going for rides on his motorcycle. He also liked to talk about all things muscle cars, and even did work on his own vehicles. 

In addition to his beloved wife, Paul is survived by his Stepchildren: Edward Burda, Jr. of Milford, MA and Elizabeth Martin and her husband Andre of Coventry; his step grandchildren: Sarah and Victor Martin of Coventry; his siblings: Joseph Morin and his companion Lisa Robinson of Pascoag, Jeanne Morin and her companion Bernie Beauregard of Woonsocket, Estelle Laforge and her husband Bob of Richlands, NC, Denise Beaudette and her husband Paul of North Smithfield, Rachel Larochelle and her husband Marc of Woonsocket, Marcel Morin of North Smithfield, Claire Griffin and her husband Mike of Kannapolis, NC, and Carol Morin of Woonsocket; also many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Paul’s Mass of Christian Burial, which will be held on Wednesday September 29, 2021 at 11 AM at St John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville, RI. Burial will be private. In accordance with COVID-19 precautions, if you are not fully vaccinated, please wear an appropriate  face covering.
