PAULA A. (CUNHA) BUONAUITO

PAULA A. (CUNHA) BUONAUITO, 59, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at the Sunny View Nursing Home, Warwick. Paula is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Anthony M. Buonauito. 

Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of Charles Cunha Jr. and the late Claire I. (Fleuette) Cunha. 

A lifelong resident of West Warwick, Paula was a member of West Warwick High School’s Class of 1984. Always having a strong work ethic and caring personality, Paula loved her career as a Medical Secretary. She made many close personal connections with patients and co-workers throughout the years. She enjoyed cooking and was happiest when she was simply spending time with her closest family and friends. 

Paula was the loving mother of Justin Mastrofino and Anthony Buonauito. She is also survived by her dear brother, Charles Cunha III; Sister-in-law of the late Teresa (Pastore) Cunha. Loving Aunt of Michael Cunha, his wife Casey; great aunt of Michael Thomas. She was the beloved granddaughter of the late Charles and Mary (Grace) Cunha. Paula is also survived by her beloved fur baby, Chloe. 

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, with a Funeral Service to commence at 6:00 PM, in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (ROUTE 117), Coventry, RI 02816.
