PETER E. UCCI

UCCI, PETER E., 77, of Coventry, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at  Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Sylvio and Helen (Plaziak) Ucci.

Peter graduated from Coventry High School in 1961. He was employed as a Dispatcher at the former Richmond Ready Mix Company for over 20 years. Peter was a skilled logger and wood cutter. He owned and operated a saw mill in Coventry and later moved the operation to Eastford, CT. He had a great passion for woodworking and especially carving. But mostly, he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

He was the father of Lori E. Shea (Michael), Sherrie L. Capaldo (Michael) all of Cranston, and Jamie P. Ucci of Coventry. He was the grandfather of Michael J. Shea, Lauren Shea and Jamison Ucci. Peter was the brother of John S. Ucci of Coventry, and the late Ann H. Ucci.

“Peter was a great father, grandfather, and brother; and he will be truly missed”.

Upon Peter’s request, no services will be held. Memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) would be appreciated. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) in Coventry.  iannottifh.com
