WALLIN, PHYLLIS M. (JANDRON), 69, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 22, 2025. She was the devoted wife of Bradley R. Wallin for 48 years. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Norman A. and Jennie C. (Parente) Jandron.
Phyllis was the incredible mother of Brittany M. Wallin of Providence, Courtney W. Taulbee (Scott) of Reston, VA, and Brenton B. Wallin (MacKenzie) of South Kingstown. She was the adoring “Grandma Philly” to Patrick and Marilyn Wallin.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Rosann F. Hillier, and her twin brother, Wayne A. Jandron. Phyllis is survived by many family members, including two brothers and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Phyllis graduated from West Warwick High School, class of 1974. She attended night school and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree at Providence College in 1984. Later, at the age of 56, she earned her Master’s Degree (MBA), also from Providence College.
Although Phyllis was extremely proud of her own educational attainment, there was no greater joy in Phyllis’s life than raising her three children and instilling in them a love for learning. Ever since they were young, she found fun and creative ways to encourage them to excel academically. She was brilliantly clever and crafty, with endless ideas for costumes, school projects, and decorations. She also embraced summer, whether out on the water, lounging by the pool, or relaxing at the beach. She will be remembered for her unmatched wit, beautiful sewing, delicious food, and her absolutely contagious smile and laugh.
To respect her wishes, memorial services will be private.
In lieu of flowers and to honor her courageous 4.5 year battle with ovarian cancer, memorial donations may be made to Women & Infants Hospital Foundation. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home.
