RAFAEL E. GENAO

Rafael Enrique Genao, 86, formerly of New York passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2024 at The Miriam Hospital, Providence, RI.

Born in the Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Enrique and Herminia Genao.  

Rafael worked in the Textile Industry in New York City for many years. He enjoyed reading and watching baseball and was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees. 

Rafael is survived by his loving children, Rosanna, Kira, Rafael Enrique, Diana & Lorena, his  grandchildren, siblings, and many loving extended family members and friends.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 12:00 (NOON) - 2:00 PM in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road, Coventry, with a Funeral Service to begin at 2:00 PM. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Rafael E. Genao.
