RAMON DOUGLAS BOUDREAU

Obituary for Ramon Douglas Boudreau:
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ramon Douglas Boudreau, who left this world peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the age of 82.
Born on August 20, 1942, in West Warwick, RI, Ramon was the son of the late George and Agnes (McGregor) Boudreau. He was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice Johnson Boudreau; his daughter, Lisa Marie Schofield; his brother, George Boudreau; and his sisters, Eileen Handley and Sylvia Lavoie and his special companion Mildred “Millie” Jacques.

Ramon proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a 2nd Petty Officer from 1959 to 1962. He went on to have several careers, including mechanic, real estate agent, and small business owner. Ramon had a wide range of interests, such as painting, collecting unique antiques and treasures from yard sales, woodworking, and flying small aircraft. Notably had the unique experience of flying the Goodyear blimp.

Ramon is survived by his two children: Ramona Santos (Rick) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and John Boudreau (Jodi) of Cranston, RI. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, his sisters, Jeannine Vanasse of North Kingstown, RI, and Diane Bump of Englewood, FL, as well as his brother, David Boudreau of Venice, FL.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm with a Memorial Service at 12:30 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (RTE 3), Coventry, RI, with Rev. John Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends following the Service at the Anthony PNA, 15 Meeting Street in Coventry, RI. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Ramon’s name. Burial is to be private.
