Obituary

HENDERSON, RANDY A., 67, of Coventry, passed away at the Kent Hospital on Friday, April 14, 2023. He was the companion of Dorothy Savory for 34 years. Born in Bangor, Maine, he was a son of the late Elsie Henderson Jr. and Carolyn (Remik) Henderson.

Randy served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. After an honorable discharge, he worked in the scrap metal industry for many years, most recently for F & G Scrap Metals. He loved animals, country music, the “HayLoft Jamboree”, helping Dottie’s father “Eddie Zack” with the band behind the scenes. He also enjoyed ice fishing and snowmobiling in Maine.

He was the father of Randy A. Henderson and Tonya Henderson; grandfather of Gage, Isabella, Nathaniel, Nevada. Randy was the brother of  Richard Henderson, Steven Richards, and Alana Reed.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced.  Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT in Coventry. iannottifh.com
