RAY BEAUCHAINE Sr.

BEAUCHAINE, RAY F. Sr., 81, of Coventry, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the loving companion of 36 years to Karen Green. 

Born in Coventry, he was a son of the late Charles E. and  Harriet (Greene) Beauchaine.

A lifelong resident of Coventry, Ray graduated from Coventry High School in 1960. Ray worked for many years as a Foreman and Superintendent for Aetna Bridge Co., Warwick. He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union 94. Ray enjoyed traveling, especially winters in Florida, learning of local history, and taking long car rides.

He was the loving father of Dwayne C. Beauchaine, Ray F. Beauchaine Jr., Wayne E. Beauchaine, and Cheryl L. Padula, her husband David. Grandfather of Christopher Beauchaine, Amanda Beauchaine, Joshua Beauchaine, Matthew Paquette, McKenzie Beauchaine, Kaitlyn Beauchaine, Ray Beauchaine III, Corey Beauchaine, Ashley Beauchaine, and Emily Beauchaine; Great grandfather of twelve. He is also survived by his sister, Barabara Jones. 

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (Route 3), Coventry. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM. Burial and committal prayers will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Coventry.
