RAYMOND H. MEDICI

MEDICI, RAYMOND H., 97, of Coventry, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Alpine Nursing Home. Born in Providence, on April 5, 1922, he was a son of the late Emilio and Palma (Martino) Medici.

Raymond was the brother of the late Albert E. Medici, Dorothy (Medici) Ricciardelli, and Anna (Medici) DiStephano.

Raymond lived in Providence, Cranston, Coventry, and West Greenwich. He is survived by his oldest son, Raymond J. Medici of Hooksett, N.H., and Bruce R. Medici and his wife Donna “Jean” of West Greenwich, R.I. He leaves two grandchildren; Ben & Mikayla of West Greenwich.

Raymond served his Country in WWII; in the Army Air Force stationed in Newfoundland. He worked at Stackben, B.I.F. Industries, and at the Motel 8 in R.I. until his retirement.

He was a loving father and he lived at the Alpine Nursing Home the past five years. His late wife Celia “Liz” (Sisti) Medici went to the Lord in 1998. They were married 50 years.

A Private Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail in Exeter.  Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry. iannottifh.com
