REGINALD OLIVER Obituary

Reginald "Reggie" Anthony Oliver, 67, died unexpectedly on June 14. He was born in Providence, RI to the late Mary (Azza) and Reginald E. Oliver. He grew up in Cranston, and then resided in Coventry and West Greenwich. He pursued his dream of living out west, most recently retiring to Providence, Utah, for the past three years.

He leaves behind his caring wife Donna (Pietras), his brother Robert Oliver, sister Kathy and her husband John Lamb, sister-in-law Nancy LaGuardia, brother-in-law David and his wife Robin Pietras, his Aunt Carmella Azza, nephews Sean and Gary DeSilva, as well as many cousins. He is predeceased by his sister Patricia DeSilva and nephew Marcus LaGuardia.

Reggie enjoyed a long career in the biomedical field. As an entrepreneur, he collaborated with an engineer to develop a new medical feeding device.

Reggie loved the outdoors, especially the national parks, having camped out west from an early age with his family. He and Donna spent most of their retirement years traveling in their RV. While living in Phoenix, Arizona for 15 years, Reggie developed a passion for cycling, winning many racing medals. He was an avid football fan, especially for all things "Tom Brady". He was a dog-lover, especially for his ' "true love" Sophie, a greyhound who was his constant companion.

Reggie was easy-going, fun loving, and often referred to as a "great guy". All who knew him will miss his infectious smile and quick wit.
