REV. FRANCIS "FRAN" A. HARRINGTON

REV. FRANCIS A. “Fran” HARRINGTON, 76, of Coventry, passed away with his loving family by his side on Sunday, November 22, 2025 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the loving husband of 55 years to Linda (Lodge) Harrington. 

Born in Winsted, CT he was a son of the late Charles and Marguerite (McLusky) Harrington. 

Fran was the Office Manager of the Hartford Current for 16 years and most recently he was a Sales Representative for National Vinyl, Chicopee, MA.

Fran played a significant role as the Assistant Pastor in the Gateway Life Pentecostal Fellowship, Cranston. Within his Child Evangelist Church family, he was also known as “Jesuseppi”, the Italian Chef. He was also a lifelong sports fan rooting for the New York Yankees and his grandson’s baseball teams. He was also a talented multi instrumentalist, playing the guitar, drums, and oftentimes waking everyone up for breakfast with an impromptu trumpet performance. Above all, Fran was a loving and dedicated grandfather and was always there as a positive role model for his grandchildren. He will truly be missed. 

He was the loving father of Kelli Harrington and Victoria Harrington-Cole. Grandfather of Zachary Harrington, Cody Crickmore, Austin Cole, and Noah Cole; great grandfather of Ashtyn, Nova, and Ainsley. Brother of James Harrington, of Norfolk, CT, Robert Harrington of Winsted, CT, and Marsha Harrington of Winsted, CT.; Uncle of Jessica, Rebecca, and Matthew. Fran is also survived by his father-in-law, Raymond Lodge and his wife Virginia of Statesboro, GA., and his sister-in-law Victoria Beauguard, and her husband Peter. A lifelong animal lover, Fran also leaves behind his beloved canine companions, “Hunni” and “Zoe”. 

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM in Gateway Life Church, 711 (rear) Park Avenue, Cranston. 

His funeral will be held Friday, December 5, 2025 with visiting hours from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with his Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 AM in Gateway Life Church, 711 (rear) Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Coventry.
