RICHARD J. (Jr.) BEGONES

WARWICK- Richard J. Begones, Jr., 50, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. 

Born on April 1, 1971, in Providence, Richard was one of two children born to Richard J. Begones, Sr. and the late Alberta R. (Sharbuno) Begones. 

For many years, Richard worked as an Appliance Technician for Private Appliance Service in Johnston. With the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot, Richard was excellent as his job and took great pride in being able to repair all issues he faced.

In his spare time, Richard enjoyed cooking delicious cuisine and introducing his pallet to flavorful foods. He was never afraid to step on a stage to sing karaoke and he had the perfect personality for someone born on April Fool’s Day, as he was quick witted and possessed a humorous personality. Above all, Richard cherished the role of being an Uncle and treasured time spent with his niece and nephew. 

In addition to his father, Richard is survived by his sister, Valerie Goncalves; his niece and nephew, Gianna and Joshua Goncalves; and his loving friends. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial visitation on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rt.117), Coventry, RI.  A Committal Service will be held privately at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston, where Richard will be laid to rest with his late mother.
