RICHARD A. BISSON

BISSON, RICHARD A., 83, of Washington St., West Warwick, passed at home peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, June 19, 2020. He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Theresa P. (Demers) Bisson in January 2010. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Asslin) Bisson. 

Richard was the owner and operator of the former Café Jericho in West Warwick for over forty years, before retiring. Richard was a caring person, he especially liked to “spoil children”.

He also enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. 

He was the father of Denise P. Chandler and her husband Robert of Mexico Beach, Florida, George E. Lemois and his wife Roberta Cennamo, and Richard R. Bisson and his wife Linda, all of West Warwick.  Richard was the father of the late Marie L. Whitfield and the brother of the late Cecile Bisson. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
