RITA GLORIA (LEMAY) FAGAN

FAGAN (LEMAY),  RITA GLORIA, 95, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at Kent Hospital, Warwick on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Rita was the loving wife of 60 years to the late Thomas S. Fagan.

Born in Warwick, Rita was a daughter of the late Edward and Olivine (Parent) Lemay. 

Rita worked for many years as a Threader in the lace weaving manufacturing industry. She enjoyed knitting and crochet, and was known for her handmade Baptismal garments. 

Rita was the loving mother of Cynthia A. Fagan-Perry of Coventry, Timothy P. Fagan of Sand Gate, VT, John C. Fagan of Coventry, and the late Thomas S. Fagan Jr. and Michael J. Fagan. Grandmother of 15. Great grandmother of 15. Rita was the sister of the late Dorothy Kelley of North Kingstown and the late Jeanette O’Donnell. 

Rita’s funeral will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 9:45 AM from the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (ROUTE 117), Coventry. Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM in Saints John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Burial and Committal Prayers to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
