ROBERT EVA

EVA, ROBERT, 83, of Hope, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, July 25, 2022. He was the beloved husband of more than  60 years to Lucille (Damas) Eva. 

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Wilfred R. and Ethel M. (Snow) Eva. 

Robert was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He was a longtime member of Local 17 Sheet Metal Workers Union of Rhode Island, and spent most of his career working at H. Bromberg & Son Sheet Metal Contractors. In his spare time, Robert was an outdoorsman, spending much of his retirement enjoying skeet shooting at Narragansett Gun Club where he was a member for 30 years. He loved fishing on the Pawcatuck River and Boone Lake where he lived for 20 years.  He passed his love of all things outdoors to his children and grandchildren.

Robert was the loving father of Michael Eva & his wife Lisa, Robert Eva & his wife Rebecca, Joseph Eva & his wife Deana, Luanne (Eva) Bonvouloir & her husband Claude, and the late Christopher Eva. He was Grampa and Papa to Alexsandra, Rachael, Matthew, Kyle, Lucien, Noel and Sierra, and Great Grampa to Nora Rae. 

Robert’s funeral service and burial with Military Funeral Honors at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter are respectfully private.
