ROBERT E. PARENTEAU

PARENTEAU, Robert E., 91, formerly of Hill Farm Rd., passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Riverview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  He was the husband of the late Lorraine V. (Langlais) Parenteau.

A resident of Coventry all his life, he was a son of the late Hormidas and Gertrude (Warner) Parenteau.

A Navy Veteran of WWII, Robert worked for Coventry Credit Union maintenance retiring in 1991.  Prior to that he had worked for Warwick Club Ginger Ale, Coca-Cola and Pepsi for 31 years. 

He is survived by two children, Diane Selby of Hope and Douglas Parenteau and his wife Kim of Coventry; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  He was a brother of the late Irene Summey, Marjorie Langlais and Norma Parenteau.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 17, 2018 from 9:00 – 10:30 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry.  Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
