ROBERT M. SHAW

SHAW, ROBERT M,. 76, of Nokomis, Florida, and formerly of West Warwick, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife of 19 years, Margaret “Peggy” (Gilchrist) Shaw, by his side. 

Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Thomas and Isabella (Wilson) Shaw. 

As a young man, Robert served his country in the United States Navy. Always mechanically inclined, Robert worked for many years at Ocean State Harley Davidson as a Service Manager. Robert was a lifelong automobile enthusiast and also enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing. Above all, anytime he was spending with family and friends was what Robert cherished most. 

He was the loving father of Robert Shaw of North Kingstown and Kimberly Shaw of West Warwick. Grandfather of 3; great grandfather of 6. 

Robert’s Committal Prayers and Military Funeral Honors at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, is respectfully private. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
