ROBERTA J. (MARTIN) HAUSAUER

HAUSAUER, ROBERTA J., 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Bayview Rehabilitation- Scalabrini, North Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Raymond Hausauer.  

Born in West Warwick, Roberta was a daughter of the late Alpheus and Kathleen (Ford) Martin.

Roberta traveled extensively in her role as a Military Wife and mother of three. At the end of her husband’s military career, Raymond brought Roberta back to Rhode Island as promised to reunite her with her family. She will be remembered as being a loving mother, an adoring grandmother, and a loving wife. 

Roberta was the loving mother of Gary Hausauer and wife Deborah of Coventry, Susan Jennings and husband James of Westerly, and the late James Hausauer. Roberta is also survived by her daughter in law Janet Hausauer. Adoring grandmother of Jamie Hausauer and her spouse Mark Sgalia, Joshua Neff and his wife Rebecca, Michelle Neff, Nathaniel Neff, Katie Jennings and her husband Joe Budzinski, James Jennings, Troy Mathis and Bradley Hausauer. Great grandmother of Madalynn and Zachary Neff. She was the sister of the late Margaret Iasimone, Francis Martin, Leona Charbonneau, Elaine Varden, and Elizabeth Marchessault.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, August 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM, with a Funeral Service to begin at 10:30 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (ROUTE 3), Coventry. Burial and committal prayers to follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
