Roberta Agnes (Lance) Paquin, 98, of Coventry, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert J. Paquin. They were happily married thirty-two years at the time of his passing.
Born in Burlington, Vermont on October 13, 1925, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert Lance and Anne Cote.
Roberta was raised and educated in Providence. She was employed as an Inspector at Victor Electric Wire & Cable Corp. of West Warwick and later was employed as a Sales Clerk at the former G. Fox & Co. at the Rhode Island Mall.
Roberta was an avid reader, enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and years ago enjoyed boating with her late husband on Narragansett Bay. She was a member and performer at the Coventry Players and the Pawtuxet Valley Community Chorus and enjoyed delighting audiences. She made frequent trips to Canada with her mother to visit cousins which were very close.
Family was the center of Roberta’s life. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a doting grandmother to all her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Roberta was the loving mother of Raymond E. Adams and his wife, Jeanne of Coventry; beloved sister of Barbara Ann Wragg and her husband, John of Coventry; four cherished grandchildren: Brian Adams and his wife, Roxann of CT, Kevin Adams and his wife, Kerry of Coventry, Melinda Luksch and her husband, Johnathan of New York and Christopher Adams and his wife, Melissa of Texas; and four great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Tommy, Zachary and Zoe Adams.
She was the loving mother of the late Robert L. Adams and Roberta Lynne Adams and sister to the late George Strang.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Committal Service on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 11 AM in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. The Funeral Procession will form outside of the Administration Building after 10:30 AM. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
