ROBERTTA J. (LUTHER) CLEMENTS

CLEMENTS, ROBERTTA J. (LUTHER), 82, of Henry Avenue, Coventry passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 11, 2021. Robertta was predeceased by her husband Andrew G. Clements in 2000. Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Wilson R. and Dorothea (Davin) Luther.

Robertta was a day care provider from 1985 to 2002. She will always be remembered for the personal care, kindness and attention she bestowed on these children. Robertta had an artistic flair, as she attained a scholarship to the Rhode Island School of Design and attended for two years until she married. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and arts and crafts.

She was the mother of Charles A. Cutler (Luz) of Coventry, Kristina L. Cote (Michael) of Plainfield, CT, Clay A. Cutler (Nancy) of Ashaway, Kathy L. Tartaglia (Dennis) of West Warwick, and Barbi-Ann Burdick (Pastor Barry) of Westerly and the late Darrell S. Cutler. She was the sister of the late Wilson, Charles, and Gardner Luther. Robertta is also survived by Davin Luther, Rachael, Mark, Rebecca and Ruth Luther; and nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Due to the Pandemic, Robertta’s services and interment in Woodland Cemetery in Coventry will be private. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry. iannottifh.com
