ROGER E. LACROIX

LACROIX, ROGER E., 74, of Coventry passed away at Kent Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Monday, September 15, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Deborah J. (Sullivan) Lacroix for 49 years. Born in Providence and raised in West Warwick, Roger was the son of the late Emile and Odile (Gourd) Lacroix.

Roger graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School in 1970. He worked tirelessly at Mac’s Bowlaway in West Warwick, his family’s owned and operated business established in 1957 by his parents. Roger gained ownership of Mac’s Bowlaway operating the business for forty years before closing in June 2023, which was a great loss for the community.

Roger was a skilled duckpin bowler. He was an avid New England Sports fan, he enjoyed camping and quality time with his family, especially his two granddaughters Megan Lacroix and Lydia Lacroix.

He was the father of Daniel Lacroix (Nikki) of Coventry, and Allison Levesque of Pawtucket. He also leaves his sister Judith Archambault and her husband Lionel “Doc” Archambault, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Friday, September 19, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 5:00 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,(95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry.
