ROGER G. LAVALLEE

LAVALLEE, ROGER G. age 83, of West Warwick, and formerly of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, at Rhode Island Hospital, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. He was predeceased by his wife of forty-five years Sandra Mae (DeCrescenzo) in 2008. Roger was the companion of Linda Bisignani for the last fifteen years. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Roger and Louise (Gagnon) Lavallee.

Roger graduated from West Warwick High School, class of 1960. He went on to work as a carpenter for the former Seelenbrandt Construction for many years, before changing career paths. Roger retired as a Supervisor in 2002, after 22 years of dedicated employment at General Dynamics Electric Boat in North Kingstown. He also served in the RI Army National Guard.

Roger was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 6 West Warwick, RI and the Florida Sheriffs Association. 

He was the father of Roger G. Lavallee Jr. (Judith) of Dayville, CT, Dawn M. Pare of Cranston, Brian Lavallee (Kristen) of West Warwick, Robin Lombari of Coventry, Kevin L. Lavallee (Sue) of West Warwick, Marc R. Lavallee of Cranston, and Keith E. Lavallee (Krystal) of West Warwick. Grandfather of Joshua, Lindsay, Mikaela, Tyler, Brittany, Callan, Antonio, Kyle, Samantha, Kylie and Kaylee; also survived by one great-granddaughter Kinsley. Roger was the brother of Teresa Diffley of MA, Edith Laval of West Warwick, and the late Leo Lavallee, Louise J. O’Brien and Irene Lavallee.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 11:00 am at Christ the King Church, 124 Legris Ave., West Warwick, RI. Visiting hours will be at the Church from 9:00 am to 11:00 am prior to Mass.
