ROGER J. PETRANGELO

PETRANGELO, Roger J., 76, Coventry, passed  away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 18, 2018.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Julio and Jean (Boisclair) Petrangelo and brother to the late Ronald Petrangelo.

Roger served in The R.I. National Guard.  He was a member of the Teamster's Union and was employed by the Pepsi Cola Company for 45 years.  Roger made many cherished friends during his time with Pepsi. After retirement, he enjoyed watching and attending the Red Sox or Patriot's games with his beloved family. Amongst these pleasures, he also enjoyed fishing as well as being a grandfather to his three grandchildren. 

He is survived by his loving daughters, Dana J. Sholes and her husband Steven of Warwick, Brenda A. Garvey and her husband Steven of West Warwick; three grandchildren, Lindsey, Ryan and Cameron , a sister-in-law Janice Petrangelo, and two nieces Lorna Thompson and Wendy Owens.

His Funeral will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at 9:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in SS. John & James Parish, West Warwick.  Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick.  Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society (cancer.org) would be appreciated.
