ROLAND FONTAINE

FONTAINE, ROLAND, 57, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 24, 2025. 

Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Norman R. and Bernice M. (George) Fontaine. 

Roland proudly served his country in the Rhode Island National Guard. Always having been mechanically inclined, Roland worked for many years as an automotive mechanic at various auto garages and service centers before retiring. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a skilled billiards player, having competed in tournaments and competitions throughout the area. Above all, Roland also enjoyed simply spending time with his close friends and family.

Father of Cassandra, Jacquelyn, and Drew. He was the brother of Barbara Lemieux, her husband Tom, of Bradford, PA. Roland is also survived by his dear friend, Gary Fusaro.
