ROSEMARY (LEPRY) CROSS

CROSS, ROSEMARY (LEPRY) 99, of Coventry, passed away at the West View Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 13, 2018. She was the wife of the late James J. Cross. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Louis A. and Ann Marie (Mitchell) Lepry. Rosemary was the mother of James  J. Cross Jr. and his late wife Phebe of West Greenwich, John L. Cross of Thailand, Anthony R. Cross and his wife Pamela of Cape Coral, Florida, Ellen R. Daniels and her husband Gregory of Lincoln, Joan A. McNamee of Cranston, Margaret M. Domina and her husband Robert of Coventry and the late Mary Anne Dugas. Rosemary is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.  Rosemary was the sister of Anna Brown, Rita Russo, Louis Lepry, and the late John Lepry, Delores Lepry and Louise Casey. 

Rosemary loved caring for her husband and family, cooking, creating rosary beads, and volunteering for many years as a reading instructor at Dorcas Place in Providence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 17, 2018 at 10 am in SS John & Paul Church, 341 So. Main St., Coventry. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted, memorial donations to the RI Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907 would be appreciated. (www.rifoodbank.org).
