ROY LEO LEVEILLEE

LEVEILLEE, ROY L. 72, of Coventry, passed away at the Riverview Healthcare Community on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Leo R. and Theresa (Parenteau) Leveillee.

After graduating from Coventry High School in 1969, Roy served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Roy was an accomplished baker, he was employed at the former Miller’s Bakery in West Warwick for over 20 years. Roy had also worked at the Original Bradford Soap Works Inc. for many years. Roy was a skilled woodworker. He was also mechanically inclined and able to repair and fix almost anything. Roy enjoyed antiquing, especially searching for vintage tools.

He was the father of Ryan L. Leveillee of North Kingstown. He was the brother of Carol M. Hood of Coventry, Laurie J. Knight of Lavinia, Tennessee and the late Matthew J. Leveillee. Roy is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
