SANDRA G. LONGTIN

LONGTIN, SANDRA G., 71, of East Greenwich, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Hope Health Hospice Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Brian F. Commette for 25 years. 

Born in Lewiston, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Florian and Violette (Dutille) Longtin. After a childhood in Maine, Sandra attended college in California, studying at San Francisco State and UC Berkeley, graduating with a degree in Psychology.  She later pursued a Master's degree at Boston University. 

Sandra was a dedicated Early Childhood Therapist with a focus on autism. She worked at The Bradley School for many years.  

Sandra enjoyed travel, grandchild visits, tending to her magnificent garden but most of all, she enjoyed sailing New England waters with her husband.   

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters Adrienne Longtin and April Longtin and several well-mannered granddaughters.  

Funeral arrangements are respectfully private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Amos House in Providence RI (https://amoshouse.com/contact) would be greatly appreciated. Amos House serves the under-privileged and homeless.
