SANDRA L. (JONES) SHERIDAN

SHERIDAN, SANDRA L. (JONES), 77, of Sherwood Valley Lane, Coventry, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved mother of Kim S. Araujo and her husband Fernando A. “Fred” Araujo of Hope, and Edward  R. Sheridan and his wife Lori M. Sheridan of Coventry. Sandra was the adoring grandmother of Tyler Araujo and his wife Brittany, Troy Araujo, Noah Sheridan, Hannah Sheridan and Bryce Sheridan. Sandra also leaves her dear friend Micheline Sequira, and a loving cousin Karen Trahan-Fuller of Florida.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Loretta B. (Grenier) Jones.
After graduating from high school, Sandra went on to a dedicated career in banking for over 30 years before retiring from the Coventry branch of Santander Bank in 2023. 

Sandra enjoyed traveling and vacationing on many cruises, shopping, but mostly she loved spending time with her family. After retiring, Sandra found it rewarding to volunteer as a foster grandmother at the Western Coventry Elementary School.  

Visiting hours will be Monday morning, April 15, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am with a Service at 11:30 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (Route 3) Coventry, RI.  Interment at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston to follow. www.iannottifh.com
