SARAH J. (Nason) BELL

BELL, Sarah J. (Nason), 58, of Allison Ave., passed away with her husband by her side on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.  She was the beloved wife of 38 years to William P. Bell.

Born in Bangor, ME, she was the daughter of the Mark and Joanne (Flewelling) Nason.

Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Ryan Bell and his wife Renee of West Warwick, Randy, Jaiden, James, Travis and Angel Bell, all of Coventry; five siblings, Nancy Skaling of Coventry, Sharon Jackson of Maine, Steve Nason of Fl., Lisa Phillips of Coventry and Paul Nason of Coventry and two grandchildren, Henry and Isaac Bell.  She was the mother of the late Rachael Bell.

Everyone who knew Sarah was instantly brightened by her smile and overwhelming kindness. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and her trust in Him lets us know that she is with God now. 

Sarah’s life was fulfilled through her love of Christ and of her children and family. After having three children of her own, she and her husband Bill adopted three more children and fostered one. She spent her days taking care of others and bringing joy and happiness to all who knew her. In November 2017, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and over these last two and a half years she has fought for every day. Sarah showed a strength, courage, and love like no other and set an amazing example for others to see. If there is one word to describe who Sarah was at heart, it would be selfless.

She will be so incredibly missed, but we are comforted knowing she is safe with our Lord. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for Sarah and helped our family throughout this journey. 

There will be indoor and outdoor seating for the funeral service to be held Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 10:00 am in the Maple Root Baptist Church, 150 Harkney Hill Rd., Coventry. Burial will be private for the family.  Visiting hours Monday from the 4:00 – 7:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.
