SONDRA JOY HADFIELD

Hadfield, Sondra Joy, 76, 995 Victory Highway, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at her home. 

Born in West Warwick, she has been a resident of Coventry since her marriage to Joseph Hadfield for the past 54 years. Sondra was a graduate of Deering High School and graduate of the University of Rhode Island. Upon graduation, she began her career as a grammar school teacher. However, she left public school teaching and founded her own Nursery School in Greene, RI which she operated for the next 33 years which was her life’s work, the pre-school education of children whom she loved with a passion. Sondra was a member of Still Water Christian Fellowship in Hope where she worshipped and praised her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

She leaves her husband, Joseph Hadfield, her daughter, Dawn R. Donnelly, and her husband, Timothy, and two grandchildren whom she loved sacrificially. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Quidnessett Baptist Church, 6356 Post Rd., North Kingstown. Interment will follow in Maple Root Cemetery, Coventry. Visiting hours Friday from 5:00-8:00 PM in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Gideons International, PO Box 6864, Warwick, RI 02887 will be appreciated.
