STELVIO A. "STEVE" CORDEIRO

CORDEIRO, STELVIO A. “STEVE”, 90, of Arnold Road, Coventry, passed away at the Alpine Nursing Home in Coventry on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Gladys J. (Tetrault) Cordeiro and son Ronald R. Cordeiro. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel A. and Natalie (Costa) Cordeiro.

Steve was employed for many years as a toolmaker at the former Imperial Knife Manufacturing Company before retiring. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Steve was a dedicated parishioner of Saints John & Paul Church. He was a member of the Monsignor Blessing Council Knights of Columbus.

Steve was the brother of Manuela A. Parece of Somerset, MA. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces including Jose A. Parece, Nelson Parece, Gary Parece, Rita Annis, Natalie Cooper and Vanda Parece.

A Visiting hour will be on Monday morning, August 7, 2023 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the Iannotti Funeral at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., Coventry (I95,exit 18,Rte.3), with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Saints John & Paul Church, Coventry.
