SYLVIA VALLIER Obituary

VALLIER, SYLVIA A., 88, of West Greenwich, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Vallier. 

 

Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was a daughter of the late James and Alice (Bouchard) Jepson. 

 

Sylvia was the loving mother of Linda Hallett, and her husband Mark, Robert Bassett, and his wife Charlene, Elaine Drury, her husband Joseph, Sandra Vallier, and the late Rose Vallier. Grandmother of Scott, Tyler, Kenneth, Allyson, Kelsey, Jackson, Madylin, Kaia, Layla; great grandmother of four. Sister of Roger Jepson (Elaine), Robert Jepson (Patricia), Carol Renzi (Pasquale), and the late Lloyd Jepson (Marilyn), Richard Jepson (Gloria). 

 

Aside from being a loving wife and mother, Sylvia was an accomplished sewer, stitcher and quilter. In her later years, Sylvia looked forward to her scheduled Bingo games, lunches with friends and spending time with her family. Sylvia lived an active and full life and will truly be missed by all who knew her. 

 

Sylvia’s Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 10:30 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home AT MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (ROUTE 3), Coventry. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours, Monday, November 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.  

 

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Sylvia’s memory to the Coventry Senior Center, 50 Wood Street, Coventry, RI, would be appreciated.
