THERESA GLORIA (PETRANGELO) PUCINO

PUCINO, THERESA G. (PETRANGELO) 94, a lifelong resident of West Warwick, passed away peacefully at Brentwood Nursing Home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, leaving behind a profound legacy of boundless love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. Theresa’s family was her entire world. She was the matriarch of a large, loving family spanning five generations. She was the loving wife of the late Jerry Pucino for 59 years.

Born in Warwick, RI on June 5, 1932, Theresa was the daughter of the late Domenic and Pasqualina (Orlando) Petrangelo. She was the devoted mother of Dennis Pucino and his late wife Lisa, of Warwick, Gary Pucino and his partner Lita Motroni, and former wife, Kelly of West Greenwich. She was the cherished grandmother of Dennis and wife Samantha, Justin, Katie, Vanessa, and Valarie. Theresa was the loving great-grandmother of Ava Rose Pucino, Gianna Leigh Pucino and Robert McGuirk-Pucino, Rayden McGuirk, Rhyan McGuirk, and an eagerly anticipated great-grandchild expected this summer. She was the proud great-great-grandmother of Lana Rose Pucino. Theresa was the sister of the late Joseph Petrangelo and Albert Petrangelo. 

Theresa dedicated 24 years to the West Warwick school system, where her warmth and capability touched countless lives. She began her career as a library clerk at West Warwick High School, later serving as the secretary at John F. Hogan Elementary School. She concluded her distinguished career at Providence Street Elementary School under the leadership of Principal David Raiche, former Superintendent of West Warwick Public Schools.

With a heart as vast as her beautiful 94 years, Theresa embodied the true meaning of selflessness. Her greatest joy was gathering her family around the holiday table, where her love was served in every meal. To Theresa, feeding her family wasn’t just about food—it was her way of nurturing souls, expressing deep affection, and ensuring no one ever left her presence feeling empty. Generous in both heart and spirit, she always prioritized her children and grandchildren above herself. The warmth of her kitchen and her giving spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her. Rest in peace, sweet Mother and Grandma.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 8:30 am to 10:15 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am in Sacred Heart Church. Interment at  Saint Mary Cemetery.
