FAGAN, THOMAS F. Jr., 87, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the loving husband of nearly 67 years to Barbara M. (Brochu) Fagan.
Born in Bristol, he was a son of the late Thomas F. Sr. and Mildred (Watson) Fagan.
Tom served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, followed by a 41 year career at General Dynamics until his retirement. He was an active parishioner at Saints John and Paul in Coventry, RI for the past 59 years.
A life-long New Englander, Tom was an avid fan of the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins, as well as Providence College Men’s Basketball. Throughout his life, Tom enjoyed bowling, playing golf, bird watching, playing cribbage and spending time with his family. He had a passion for listening to music and singing his favorite songs. He was a past President of the Central Coventry Little League and a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus.
Tom was the beloved father of Michael Fagan, of West Warwick, Debra Cipolla, and her husband Bill, of Hope Valley, and Joseph Fagan, and his wife Kelly, of Apollo Beach, FL. He also had 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He was the brother of Mildred Joyce Hall of Warwick.
Tom’s funeral will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 at 9:45 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (RTE 3), Coventry, RI. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Saints John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry. Burial with Military Funeral Honors at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
