REYNOLDS, THOMAS J. 83, of West Warwick, died at home surrounded by Family on Thursday, June 6, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Rosalie M. (Blaine) Reynolds for almost 50 years until her passing in 2015. Born in Providence, on June 8, 1935, a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Lester and Dorothy (Cahill) Reynolds.
Thomas loved traveling, basketball and the Dodgers. Known to many as “Tommy Ticket” he sold tickets for the former Warwick Musical Theatre for 45 years. He had attended Brown University for two years. He organized weekly basketball games for decades and was known as “The Captain” always taking pride in his ability to sink a hook shot from half court.
Deep in his unwavering Baptist Faith, he was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Warwick for 73 years. Thomas served the Congregation throughout 60 of those years as Moderator, trustee, deacon and Sunday School Teacher. His wife, family and Church were his heart, pride and joy.
He is survived by children Lisa Primrose and her husband Michael Primrose, Sandra Ford, Elizabeth Anderson and her husband Wesley Anderson and Kathryn Narcisi and her husband Metro Narcisi. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Thomas was the brother of Robert Reynolds and the late Elmer H. Reynolds, Dotsy Cawley and Dolores Reynolds.
Visiting hours will be Monday evening, June 10, 2019 from 5 pm to 7 pm with a Memorial Service at 7 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry.
