TOMOKO PALMER Obituary

In loving memory of Tomoko (Tommy) Palmer, who peacefully passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 90, after a rich and fulfilling life. Tommy embodied unwavering strength, wholehearted dedication, and a profound love for her family. She was the comforting presence in the room, leaving an incredible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Tommy was a world traveler and an expert gardener, known for her ability to keep woodchucks at bay. Her green thumb brought joy and beauty to those around her, and her adventurous spirit was passed on to her children. Let us not forget that Tommy created this beautiful life after being earlier predeceased by her husband as an immigrant to America. Her strength, fortitude, and strong values were foundational in the lives around her.

She found immense joy in watching her children and grandchildren play sports, always their biggest fan and incredibly proud of all their accomplishments. Her unwavering support and infectious spirit will forever be cherished by her family and all who knew her.

Tommy took pleasure in the simple things in life, savoring the warmth of a cup of tea, cheering for the Patriots, and enjoying a good meal. Her sharp mind and remarkable talent for numbers were matched only by her generous heart and nurturing spirit. She will be remembered as the pillar of her family, delivering not only home-cooked meals and carefully crafted apple turnovers, but also unconditional love and guidance to her grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. To her grandchildren she will forever be known as Gram.

She leaves behind a lasting legacy through her sons, Jonathan and James Palmer, and her daughter, Jewell Palmer-Couture. In addition to her children, she leaves behind a legacy of eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of her life.

Tommy will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched. As she journeys to be reunited with her beloved husband, grandson, and great-grandson in heaven, her spirit will live on through the love and cherished memories she leaves behind.
