VIRGINIA MARIE BROWN, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from natural causes. She was the beloved wife of the late William Brown Sr., with whom she shared a lifetime of love, family, and cherished memories.
Virginia was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her. She leaves behind seven loving children: Penny Brown; Patty Larocque and her husband Ronald Larocque; Billie Jean Brown; Kathy Lagerstrom and her husband Jack Lagerstrom; Sheila Brown; William Brown Jr. and his wife Kimberly Brown; and Glenn Brown.
She was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. Virginia is also survived by her brother, Wayne Andrews, and her sister, Caroline Lashley.
Always a hardworker, Virginia most recently spent nearly two decades working at Foxwoods Resort Casino, after she worked many years as an Assembler for the former School House of Candy. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
