VIVIAN HOLDEN Obituary
VIVIAN B. HOLDEN, 89, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully with loving family by her side on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Warwick. Vivian was predeceased by her late husband, James P. Holden.
Born in Fall River, MA Vivian was a daughter of the late Lucien A. and Blanche E. (LeBel) Charron.
Always with an optimistic and positive outlook, Vivian was always able to see the silver lining through any of life's obstacles. Working various jobs throughout her life, Vivian’s most cherished role was that of being a loving wife, patient mother, and an adoring grandmother. In her younger years, she enjoyed reading, tending to her flower gardens, going for walks, and learning new recipes while watching the Food Network. She will truly be missed.
Vivian was the loving mother of Deborah Vigeant, her husband Normand, James Holden II, his wife Shelly, all of Coventry. Loving grandmother of Matthew P. Gallo, Christopher Gallo, and his wife Vanessa, Brandon Scruggs; great grandmother of Gabriel and Layla Scruggs, Layla and Jameson Gallo. Loving sister of Paulette Hetu and the late Lorraine (Giroux) Peloquin. Vivian was also the longtime companion of the late Stephen Anderson.
Vivian’s Funeral will be held Monday, June 15, 2026 at 8:45 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (ROUTE 117), Coventry, RI. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry. Burial with Committal Prayers to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Coventry. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
