WALTER E. PERRAS

PERRAS, WALTER E., 80, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife, Nancy C. (Brooks) Perras by his side on Sunday, June 22, 2025. 

Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Arthur J. and Irmgard (Rexroth) Perras. 

Walter began his career at the former Hoescht Chemical Company in Coventry, Rhode Island when he was 18 years old, retiring after 41 years. Always mechanically inclined, Walter was a lifelong automobile enthusiast, and he enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods Casino. Above all, Walter will be remembered for his love of his family. He will truly be missed.  

Walter is survived by his loving daughter, Beverly Baron, her husband Bob, of Coventry; beloved grandson, Bobby Baron. He is also survived by his dear siblings, Jean Calci of Warwick, Joan Green of Coventry, and Robert Perras of Coventry.
