WAYNE M. IRONS

IRONS, WAYNE M., 56, of Tiverton, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the dear husband to his wife, Heidi L. (Wright) Irons, whom he had been with for over 28 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Wallace W. and Nancy C. (Pinda) Irons.

Wayne was a self-employed “metal scrapper” for many years. He had a lifelong passion for collecting interesting objects. Wayne enjoyed dinners at the Olive Garden and helping others. Time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, Wayne cherished the most. 

He leaves behind his beloved children, Jennifer, Alicia, Steven, Matthew, Sarah, Scott, Joshua, Wayne Jr., Russell, Kaitlyn, and many grandchildren. 

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (RTE 117), Coventry. Burial will be private.
