WILLARD MOORE Jr. Obituary

Willard S. “Pepsi” Moore Jr., 80,  of Robinson Way, West Warwick passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 3, 2025. He was the loving husband of the late Carolyn (Gontarek) Moore.

Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Willard S. Moore, Sr. and Harriet (Johnson) Moore.

Willard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before his honorable discharge. Following his military service, Willard held a distinguished 40-year career at the Pepsi Cola Company until he retired to care for his wife.

Willard was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a lifelong Washington Redskins fan, and enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing and golfing. An avid poker player, he loved his weekly card game and yearly trips to Las Vegas and Saratoga with his closest friends. Willard’s greatest joy were his grandchildren, often traveling across the state in a day so as not to miss a school or sporting event. He was a member of Club Jogues and the Crompton Veterans Organization. Willard was truly a social butterfly with an enormous sense of humor, always ready with a witty remark or a heartwarming laugh. His unwavering dedication to his family and his admirable work ethic will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was the beloved father of Lisa Snyder (Robert) of Ashaway, Jennifer Moore and her partner Christopher Seelenbrandt with whom he made his home, and Todd St. Peter (Jessica) of NY; he also leaves a brother, Garry Moore of Coventry, his sisters Karen Mancino, Susan Charpentier and Pamela Leduc all of Coventry and 9 grandchildren, Collin, Ethan, Samantha, Jackson, Grayson, Nathan, Bentley, Cade and Averi. He was the brother of the late Mary Frasier and Kenneth Moore.

His funeral will be held Monday, December 8, 2025 at 9:30 AM from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry. Interment will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 4-6 pm.
