William R. Bell

March 12, 1952  -  October 22, 2025

William R. “Bill” Bell, of Exeter, RI, passed away on October 22, 2025, at South County Hospital. For most of his life, Bill worked at Midas as a mechanic and at Legion Bowl as a jack-of-all-trades. He could fix or repair anything and loved working with his hands. Bill was a devoted father, grandfather, partner, and friend who brought joy to every room he entered.

He is survived by his loving partner of many years, Maryann Longo; his sons, William T. Bell (Catherine) and Michael Farman; his beloved stepdaughter, Kelly Williams (Ash); and four grandchildren, Sebastian, Vivian, Amber, and Zachary. He is also survived by his dear older brother, Kenneth Bell. Bill leaves behind many treasured friends, including his former wife, Beverly Bell, with whom he shared a lifelong friendship.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at The Pub on Park, 655 Park Ave., Cranston, RI. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
