WILLIAM S. "BILL" BUNCH

BUNCH, William S., 71, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Briarcliffe Manor in Johnston. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Edward W. Bunch and Mary A. (Nieratko) Bunch.  In his early years, Bill was a police officer for the Warwick Police Department as well as the saturday night weatherman for WPRI Channel 12, later working as Director of Information Technology for several schools and manufactures in New England.  Most recently, he was employed in Security at AAA in Providence for several years.

Bill is survived by his sister M. Beverly Bunch of Coventry and former spouse Linda McCarty.

Visiting hours, while observing Social Distance Guidelines, will be held Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (RTE 117), Coventry.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 10:00 am in St. Mark Church, 9 Garden Ct., Cranston, RI 02920 with interment to follow at St. Ann Cemetery.
