WILLIAM F. VAUGHN, JR.

VAUGHN, JR.,WILLIAM F., 64, of Coventry, passed away at Kent Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 11, 2024. Born in Warwick, he was the beloved son of Diane A. (Munroe) Vaughn of Warwick and the late William F. Vaughn. He was the father of Justin W. Vaughn, Frederick M. Vaughn, both of Coventry and Neil P. Vaughn and his wife Morgan of Putnam, CT. William was the adoring grandfather of Skyla, James, Paige, Zander and Jaxxon. He was the father-in-law of Ashley McElroy. William also leaves his brother John Vaughn and his wife Sheila of Warwick; and nieces and nephews Angela and Jonathan Vaughn, Joy and Jessie DeMello and cousin Bryan Munroe and family.

William graduated from Coventry High School in 1978 and went on to employment as a carpenter in construction for many years before retiring. He was a big fan of NASCAR, and enjoyed attending many races in Loudon, New Hampshire with his family and friends. Above all however, his five grandchildren were his pride and joy.
