YVETTE M. (AUGER) MARTIN

MARTIN, YVETTE M. (AUGER) 94, of Woodland Drive, Coventry, passed away at Kent Hospital, while surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond F. Martin Sr. in 2011. Born in Coventry, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Thelma (Coburn) Auger.

Yvette graduated from Coventry High School, class of 1947. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. After raising her family, she went on to employment as an Accounts Receivable Representative for the Natco Products Corporation in West Warwick for over 30 years before retiring. Yvette had a strong Catholic faith. She was a devoted parishioner of Saints John & Paul Church. In her younger days, Yvette loved to dance, play cards and attend dinner parties with her husband and their friends. However, more recently, she mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Yvette was the mother of Raymond F. Martin Jr. and his wife Deb of Woodsville, NH, Gary L. Martin and his wife Cynthia of Coventry, Althea M. Fanella and her companion Anthony Faella of West Greenwich, and Steven M. Martin and his wife Margie-Rae of Warwick. Yvette was the sister of Janice Pacheco, and the late Annette Asselin, Francis Auger and Donald Auger. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be on Friday morning, August 23, 2024 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (Rte.3) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Saints John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry, RI 02816. Interment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
