ANTONIO DE PALMA

DE PALMA, ANTONIO, 77, of Janet Drive, West Warwick, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. He was the husband of Rosa (Cardo) DePalma and on October 24, 2017 they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage. Born in Italy, he was a son of the late Antonio and Maria (Bavaro) DePalma.

Antonio was employed at Superior Bakery Inc. in Cranston as a baker and head baker for over 48 years, before retiring in 2014. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and yard work.

He was the father of Anthony C. DePalma and his wife Sharon of Johnston, and Maria P. DePalma of Cranston. He was the caring grandfather of Anthony P. DePalma. Antonio was the brother of Carlo DePalma of Coventry, Isabella Cicerone of Cranston, Rosa DePalma of Argentina and the late Michael DePalma.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 8:15 am to 9:45 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Mark’s Church, 15 Garden Ct., Cranston, RI. Entombment at St. Ann Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society ( www.cancer.org ) will be appreciated.
