MARY E. (VERDADEIRO) VENTURA

VENTURA, MARY E. (VERDADEIRO) 78, formerly of Fairview Ave., Coventry, passed with her loving family by her side, and was reunited once again with her late husband Frank Ventura, whom she longed for, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the Riverview Healthcare Community.  Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Enos) Verdadeiro.
 

Mary was a very caring and giving person. Her door was always open and she was known for her cooking in abundance and entertaining for her family and friends. Mary was a communicant of St. Anthony Church, a member of the Portuguese American Civic League, and the Portuguese Holy Ghost Society. Mary enjoyed playing Bingo.

She was the loving mother of Frank L. Ventura and his wife Penny of West Warwick, Robert M. Ventura of Greene, and Susan M. Nealon and her husband Michael of West Warwick. She was the beloved grandmother of five and great-grandmother of four. Mary was the sister of John J. (Josie) Verdadeiro of Warwick, Theresa LaBonte and Stella Peiczarek, both of West Warwick. Mary was especially dear to her many nieces and nephews, Mary was loved by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, 1 Sunset Ave., West Warwick, RI. Inurnment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private. Visiting hours and flowers respectfully omitted. Arrangements by Iannotti Funeral Home, Coventry.
