OGRODNIK, Frances T., 93, formerly of Pulaski St., passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry.
A lifelong resident of Coventry, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Pieniadz) Ogrodnik and sister of the late Adele, Joseph, Chester and Walter Ogrodnik. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Frances worked for 10 years in the housekeeping department at the Rhode Island Medical Center before retiring in 1983. Prior to that, she worked at various textile mills in the Pawtuxet Valley for over 30 years. She was a member of the Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church choir for over 25 years and the AARP.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St. (Rte. 117), Coventry. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours and flowers respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts in her memory may be made to Our Lady of Czenstowchowa Church or St. Adalbert Church Fund in Providence.
