MARJORIE E. (GALE) UPRIGHT

UPRIGHT, MARJORIE E. (GALE) 79, of Coventry, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017.

She was the wife of the late Paul T. “Butch” Upright.  Born in Lee, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Manley and Dorothy (Ward) Gale.

Marjorie was a Licensed Practical Nurse at various nursing homes in the Berkshires before retiring.

She is survived by her son, Richard A. Upright and his wife Deborah of Danielson, CT, her grandsons Matthew  Upright of Kerrville, TX and Edward Scotti Jr. of Coventry. She was the sister of Donald (Sue Ann) Gale of Bristol, RI, Robert (Karen) Gale of Torrington, CT, Edward (Wanda Popielaczyk) Gale of Canaan, CT, Susan (Chris) Wyman of Clearwater, FL. Marjorie was predeceased in death by her brother, Russell (Sandy) Gale.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday evening, August 16, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with a Service at 6:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry. Interment in Peltonbrook Cemetery in Great Barrington, Massachusetts will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association ( www.diabetes.org ) will be appreciated.
